The Versa-Drag™ system includes HT-100™ washers for smooth drag under heavy loads and the centrifugal brake system is internally adjustable for remarkable cast control. The gear ratio is 6.0:1 and the maximum drag with full spool is 25 pounds. The forged aluminum spool has convenient line capacity rings, keeping the angler aware of line remaining during the tug of war with the fish. The spool on the 18.4-ounce Model FTH30 is 440 yards of 20-pound mono/625 yards of 50-pound braid and the Model FTH40 at 18.7 ounces has a capacity of 350 yards of 30-pound mono/725 yards of 50-pound braid.
